What A Wonderful World
Driving in my car today, and even looking out my window at home, I can't help but enjoy the wonder of creation. The way the leaves on the trees blow in the wind and reflect the sunshine with one side deeper green than the other. The way the clouds are shaped and complement the blue sky. I even wonder at mankind, how they go about their days working, providing for their families, tending to their gardens so that their homes are a refuge of beauty. The white dogwood trees in bloom is just a heavanly vision to behold. Then I wonder, do other people appreciate the beauty of it all as I do? I feel like I spend a large amount of my time on this earth appreciating the beauty I see in the everyday things that seem trivial to most. I enjoy so much the twinkle in my sons eye when he says something witty. The bright fuzzy moss that grows by a tree in my backyard. Most of all I love the wind in my hair. It feels so free and wild as it circles the earth. These are the things I think of continually throughout my days and it brings me so much joy. Louis Armstrong sings "What a Wonderful World" and indeed it is. It is.
