My Boys are 10 and 12 (almost) years old and we try our best as parents to prolong their happy childhood as much as possible. We did this with our oldest daughter River and she is so very thankful for it. We do challenge them with independence and freedom, but, we do like to teach them a way to live their life that includes kindness, self control, respect, morals. One of the ways we do this is with Netflix. On Netflix they can pick a show and watch an episode every day with no commercials (about 25 min.). They just finished watching all of the Andy Griffith Shows and have begun to watch Leave it to Beaver. This is the perfect show for them as Beaver is in fourth grade and Connor is in 4th grade.

Today before the boys walked to the canoe club for hot dogs and ice cream Connor showed me a little project he did in his room. He took the Scrabble Board and made a word search with words from the show for me to do. The picture of it is sideways and I had a hard time getting it to spin for some reason so you will just have to spin your computer screen or your head to see. Not all words are spelled correctly but that is the charm :)

Beaver, Ward, Wally, Episode, June, Larry, Benji

Some of the words are diagonal  (Connor's tip)
