This is a BIG year for me. Lots of important moments have happened and are coming my way. Like...

We found my long lost big brother Scott who was adopted at a few days old. We all love and adore him and his entire family. Surreal and wonderful!!!

 A dream come true.

It looks like my Dad is beating Cancer & doing really well this year. His name is Al and I have an Owl wallet I use to remind me to pray for his healing every time I use it.

(I am on my 3rd owl wallet).

I started the process of returning to University to finish my degree in Theology after 20 years!

Corban our son, FINALLY after searching all of his life, found his "Thing"

A beach family reunion with our new brother at the club my family has been going to for  7 generations. Wonderful childhood memories and adult memories made here.

We held a memorial service with sky lanterns on the beach for Grandaddy who went to heaven this year. A wonderful, wonderful, man. The lanterns were beautiful flying over the ocean.

Still to come...

We are part of a church start up team that launches next month. It is the 8th church start up in 10 years we have been a part of or headed up. It will be our permanent church as long as we live here and it is awesome to have our kids on the start up team for the first time as well, using their gifts to be a help to the new Liquid Church - Mountainside. It is amazing that our family has been a part of church start-ups for at least 7  generations.

Going on a missions trip to Haiti this October with our daughter River and our entire staff at New York City Relief. I am hoping to start a "fair trade" jewelry connection to buy jewelry that the women are making at the mission down there to help support their families and get it sold in Manhattan spas and boutiques as well as locally. Of course I am sure we will be working on some of the following projects like self sustaining training, hire a Haitian project, praying for people, building churches, schools, and orphanages. Loving on orphans and all of the cool things we get to do on a missions trips is a thrill. Please take a moment to pray for us. If you have never gone, know that it is WAY better than any vacation you have ever been on. WAYYYY.

Can't wait till my 20 year wedding Anniversary November 1st! Whoo Hooo! We are so blessed to be given the gift of a time share in Hawaii from Juan's Aunt Nancy for a week in November. Wow. God is SO over the top. We even had the most awesome person ever, insist on paying for our airfare. Incredible. I love Juan so much and can't wait to spend a whole week just the two of us on the beach. Dream come true.

Our daughter Hailey Graduates from Columbus Girls Academy and returns home from Alabama for her sweet Sixteen birthday!

Our youngest child Connor graduates from 5th Grade making all of our children "Jr. High to College" age. No more little ones :(

Our oldest daughter River Graduates from Allied Health Academy High School and heads for Burkina Faso Africa for the summer to do children's ministry before heading off to University and major in Medical Missions.  We could not be more proud of her.

Last of all, for the cherry on top, I turn 40 years old! Yay! I love getting older and can't wait. Really!

  1. God is very good! Life is very good when sold out for Him! We are in the painful process of learning that truth. Yes, life is a process. I loved reading your year in a nutshell. You have been blessed beyond measure and are using it to bless others. Awesome testimony, Tracy! xoxo

    In Him,
    Angela
